Paris Day 1: Metro, Hotel Pont Royal, Au Trou Gascon
Lisa arrived in Paris just before 9:00 a.m.
and took the train into Paris from
CDG
and was enchanted with the tile work on the ceiling of the
Cluny La Sorbonne Metro
station.
She stayed at
Hotel Pont Royal
in the 6th arrondisement.
Her friend Paul just moved to Paris, so Lisa was able to see Paul's apartment and go to dinner at
Au Trou Gascon
in the 16th.
The restaurant was a hike from the hotel, but the white asparagus and squab were lovely.
