A day hike up
Granite Mountain
off I-90 exit 47 in Washington State.
Round trip distance of 8 miles with a 3,800 foot elevation gain. It took us 2.5-3.0 hours up and 1.5-2.0 hours down. The scramble over the huge slabs of granite to the summit was no piece of cake, but the views were gorgeous!
