Harold Wissner
WISSNER HAROLD, age 83 died October 26, 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; children Michael (Raya),
Jack (Stella), Stephen, Edward (Burma), Ellen (Jeffery) and
Ronnie (Peggy). Also by grandchildren, Kelsea, Jordan, Rachel, Lauren and Adam.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Ida in 1961.
Harold was born in Brooklyn, New York, April 15, 1919.
He served in the United State Army during World War II.
He was on duty December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor during the attack.
He served the rest of the war in the Pacific Theater.
He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivor's Association.
After the war, he moved to Miami Beach where he was the long time owner of the Paramount Bakery.
Since retirement in 1975 Harold and Lorraine have enjoyed sharing in the growth and accomplishments of their family.
They have enjoyed the company of many friends, here and in Brevard, North Carolina where they have a summer home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Harold's memory should be made to the American Cancer Society, 3901 NW 79th Avenue, Miami, FL 33166.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at 11:00 a.m., Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Miami.
Arrangements by Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, Tamarac, FL, (954) 721-2500.
