Palatki, Honanki, M.L. Coleman paintings, SEZ -> BFI
Ben took a short hike in the morning, and after another tasty breakfast we drove to the Palatki Heritage Site to see Native American ruins and stone drawings dating from 1100-1400 A.D. We drove a further 4.5 miles to the Honanki Site as well. [Note: The signs all warn of the roads requiring "high-clearance vehicles", but our rental Dodge minivan worked beautifully.] We ate lunch at The Heartline Cafe again, and then picked out two super paintings by M. L. Coleman (see http://www.mlcolemanart.com/). Then packed and enjoyed margaritas and tortilla chips before catching our plane back home.
