Motor City Bowl
We picked up our rental car, drove to Detroit, checked into
The Atheneum Suite Hotel,
had a very quick breakfast, and were in bed by 8am. We arose at 1:30p, showered, dressed, and walked the six
short blocks to
Ford Field
for the Northwestern Alumni Association pre-game tailgate, and then watched the 2003
Motor City Bowl.
Northwestern lost to Bowling Green by a score of 28-24. Sigh...
We got back to our hotel around 9:00 p.m. and ordered room service for dinner.
