The Henry Ford, Automotive Hall of Fame, The Whitney
Lot's of cool stuff! "The Quadricycle", Henry Ford's first automobile, built in 1896.
Just looking at it you could figure out what all the parts did!
The
bus Rosa Parks
made her famous protest on.
An early
Sikorsky helicopter.
A
1931 Bugatti Royale.
The
limo that JFK
was riding in when he was assassinated.
A
Ford GT Mark IV
that won Le Mans in 1967.
The
Dymaxion House
reminded Ben of Eric Engstrom's project in India.
Henry Ford's childhood home.
We ate dinner at The Whitney, a fabulously restored/preserved building from 1890. The
building was, unfortunately, much better than the meal, which looked impressive but
was sloppily prepared.
